Founded in 1991, the Wimbledon Hawks play in the highest division of the British Australian Rules Football League (BARFL), which runs from April to September.  We have players from all over the world including England, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Holland, Australia and South Africa.  The Wimbledon Hawks won the premiership in 1993, 1994, 1996 and 1998, and were runners up in 2001.

During the 2002 season, The Wimbledon Hawks were filmed during training and 2 games by Blue Peter, the British TV program, who followed the teams' progress.  Simon, one of the Blue Peter presenters played for the team and came with the film crew to Wigan where we played the St Helen's Miners.   We were also special guests on the Chris Moyle show.   This year has the makings of a successful and fun filled year.   We have a new major sponsor, The Walkabout, and everyone involved with the club are really looking forward to the year ahead.

Of course, new supporters are always more than welcome.  We have the best facilities and a fantastic social scene.  So jump on board!
